Lake of the Arbuckles

Our summer started with a camping trip that I'm sure Bethany and Zachary will always remember.  We were supposed to meet Papa and Gigi in an RV that they borrowed from friends, but then we got a call that it broke down.  Even though they didn't make it camping, we made due with our tent, played in the lake water, fished a little, made s'mores, played cards, and slept under a sky full of stars.  

Papa and Gigi joined us at Arbuckle Wilderness today, we ate some yummy BBQ, and now I'm thankful to be home in our own beds as storms are in the area where we were camping.  I think the broken RV turned out to be a good thing, and I'm sure we'll give camping another try (just maybe not during tornado season).
